Mr. Jonnalagadda Anil KumarAssociate Dean, MSSSoA
Mr. Anil Kumar Jonnalagadda is currently associated with Centurion University of Technology and Management as an Associate Dean at MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture. Apart from teaching, he heads the Agriculture Production Centre and is responsible for training and capacity building of unit heads apart from scale-up, profitability, branding, and market linkage of the agricultural production units. Working on the improvement of milk procurement for the milk processing unit by collaborating with government officials, milk producer organizations, and milk agents in the Gajapati district. He is also responsible for the accreditation of post-graduate programs and acting as a coordinator of the Agribusiness Management Domain for the School of Management.
He is also acting as the mentor for agricultural entrepreneurship and rural enterprise development among students and local youth. He has played a pivotal role in the appointment of GTIDS as an AT-BC of SBI (to source agricultural loans for South and Eastern India); also engaged in the training and hiring of staff, interns, and channel partners while ensuring process improvement and implementation of all the ongoing projects of GTIDS.
Dr. Sushmita DasAssociate Dean, Accreditation & Affiliation
Dr. Sushmita Das is the Associate Dean for Accreditation and Affiliation. Prior to joining CUTM, she worked as the Nodal Officer, Academic/Institutional Development, Odisha in the World Bank funded Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-III) under the Ministry of Education, GoI.
She also has more than 15 years of teaching experience in Electrical Engineering. She holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from IIT Kharagpur and is a Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Certified Energy Manager.
Prof. Ashok MisraAssociate Professor, SoAS
Prof.(Dr.) Ashok Misra is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, Paralakhemundi Campus and the Head of the Center for Computational Mathematics, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. He has over 25 years of teaching and 10 years of research experiences. He has published 1 Patent, 60+ research articles and 14 book chapters. He has authored 8 books and has produced 8 Ph.D. scholars.
He has delivered invited talks and chaired in 28 Conferences/Seminars. He has also conducted many events such as AICTE–ATAL FDP, International Conferences, Webinars and Symposium. He is the reviewer of 7 International Peer-reviewed journals. He has visited Mauritius in 2011 & Botswana, Africa in 2012 & Nepal in 2016 to deliver Invited research talks. He is a life member of ISTE, OMS, ISRD & IAENG. His areas of research interest are Two-Phase Flow, Nano Fluids, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Dr. Debi Prasad SatapathyAssociate Professor, SoM
Dr. Satapathy is Associate Professor (Finance and Accounting) at CUTM. He holds a master’s degree in finance and control from Utkal university. He also has completed doctoral level fellow programme in management from National Institute of Financial Management Faridabad. He has more than 11 Years of teaching, training and research experience. He has worked at VIT university Bhopal and ICFAI University prior to joining CUTM.
Dr Satapathy has participated and presented research papers at national seminars and international conferences in India and abroad. He has been Programme Co ordinator of Management thesis organized in ICFAI University. His areas of research interest mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance and corporate finance.
Dr. Gitanjali BeheraAssociate Dean, SoABE
Dr. Gitanjali Behera (Ph.D) is the Associate Dean, School of Agricultural and Bio-Engineering (SoABE), Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, Odisha, India. She has completed her Ph.D in Food Process Engineering from NIT Rourkela.
She is a life member of Indian Society for Agricultural Engineers (ISAE) India. She has Published more than 14 research papers in Peered reviewed journals. Her research areas of interest are drying and dehydration, process modelling and simulation, emerging non-thermal food processing technologies and food analysis and technology.
Dr. Sagar MaitraProfessor, MSSSoA
Dr. Sagar Maitra (b. 1969), is an agronomist and dynamic professional with 25 years of versatile professional experience in teaching, research, and dissemination of farming technologies through print and electronic media. His areas of research are crop husbandry, cropping system, nutrient management, protected cultivation, precision and smart agriculture.
His present position is Professor and Head, Department of Agronomy and Agroforestry; Coordinator, Research Centre for Smart Agriculture. He authored more than journal 150 articles, 50+ book chapters, four books and edited two books published by international and national concerns (Google scholar citation: 2028; h index: 22; i-10 index: 49). Dr. Parle Kalyan ChakravarthyAssistant Professor, SoM
Dr. Parle Kalyan Chakravarthy, working as an Assistant Professor, School of Management, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi Campus, Odisha. He Completed his MBA in HRM from JNTU Hyderabad. M.Phil. and PhD in Human Resource Management from College of Commerce and Management Studies, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, AP State. His research area is Stress Management. He has attended several Workshops from ICSSR, EDI, and AICTE on the topic of Emotional Intelligence, Teaching Pedagogy, Instructural Design, and Stress Management and so on. He has Presented 16 National and International Conferences and Published more than 27 articles in Peer Reviewed, SCI, SCOPUS, WoS and UGCCARE listed journals. He holds 13 years of teaching Experience in the field.
He has an honorable rank of CAPTAIN in Indian Army Wing NCC after trained at Officer Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur, Maharashtra and heading the NCC Unit of Centurion University, Paralakhemundi Campus. Dr. Umakanta NayakAssociate Professor, SoM
Dr. Umakanta Nayak is an Associate Professor in the School of Management. He is having 16 years of teaching experience in management at the graduate and post graduate level. He facilitates courses in the Human Resource Management area and General Management area. Besides teaching, he is actively involved in administration, research, projects and imparting training to different stakeholders.
He is a Ph.D. in Management. His doctoral research is on Urban Governance and M.Phil dissertation is on Public Policy. He has publications in the Governance and HR areas. He is coordinating the research center for Governance and Sustainable Societies.

Dr. Narayan GoudaAssociate Professor, SoAS
Dr. Narayan Gouda is currently working as an Associate Professor and HoD in the Department of Chemistry at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. He obtained his doctoral degree from CUTM, Odisha. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience. His current research interests are focused on the thermal conversion of waste biomass and waste plastics for the production of fuels and upgradation of the fuel property to make it a better substitute for the fossil fuels.
His current research also includes the utilisation of waste plastics for the preparation of composites. He is leading as coordinator of the Research Center Waste to Wealth Management across Odisha and Andhra Pradesh campuses of CUTM.
Dr. Kakani GrihalakshmiAssociate Professor, SoM
Dr. Kakani has a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology, with an emphasis on food microbiology, a MAB (Master in Agribusiness Management) from Texas A&M University, College Station, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad. Her research interests include food microbiology, molecular biology, food policy and regulation, and managerial economics.
She has eight years of teaching and research experience in diverse areas – Food Processing and Preservation Technologies, HACCP, Agri-Food Markets and Value Chain Analysis, Food and Nutrition, and Food Regulations. She is a reviewer for three journals – the International Journal of Food Science, the Journal of Food Safety, and Foodborne Pathogens and Disease.
Dr. Subhraraj PandaAssociate Professor, SoAS
Dr. Subhraraj Panda completed his Ph.D. in Physics in 2019 from Ravenshaw University. His Ph.D. is in the area of Fluid and Ultrasonic. He joined centurion institute of technology as a lecturer in the department of Physics Bhubaneswar campus in 2008.
Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and worked in various capacities such as HOD, Timetable-in charge, Admission Coordinator, Placement coordinator, and Research coordinator in the center for laser. During these years he taught a large number of courses B.Sc, M.Sc B.Tech, and various subjects of Allied science. He has published one book and 40 papers in the field of Condensed Matter Physics. His recent interest includes Laser materials and Laser applications.
Dr. Rukmini MishraAssociate Professor, SoAS
Dr. Rukmini Mishra currently serves as Associate Professor and Head, at the Dept. of Botany, Centurion University of Technology and Management, India. She also serves as the group leader of the Centre for Genetics and Genomics. Currently she is running a DST-SERB, Govt. of India funded project towards utilization of gene editing technologies towards disease resistance in vegetable crops.
She is a recipient of the prestigious Talented Young Scientist Fellowship of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of China. She teaches graduate and postgraduate courses on Plant Biotechnology and Plant Genomics. She has published more than 35 research articles in journals of national and international repute.
Prof. Swarna Prabha JenaAssistant Professor, SoET
Prof. Swarna Prabha Jena received MTech Degree from Siksha O’ Anusandhan University in 2013. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in the Field of IoT in Precision Agriculture at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha. She has eleven years of teaching and three years of Industry experience. She joined the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department as an Assistant Professor in 2013. In 2018, she became the Head of the Department. Afterward, on 15th August 2020, she led the Smart Engineering Applications Research Center as a coordinator.
Many of her articles are published in peer-reviewed journals Journals, Patented, for which she received the Eminent Achiever Award on 5th September 2021. She has conducted Faculty and Student Development Programs on Embedded Systems and IIoT. She has also developed the syllabus and course materials for Embedded System Design Using ARM cortex, IoT Analytics, Embedded System Design Domain, and Manufacturing Execution System Domain. Apart from teaching, she has guided many students in completing the course projects and worked on Real-Time IoT projects. Her research interests include exploring cutting-edge technology and application in Embedded Systems, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Rosy MallikAssistant Professor, SoAS
Dr. Rosy Mallik is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, CUTM-Odisha since 2019. She obtained her Ph.D. from the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, Maharashtra. She has post-doctoral research experience from The Central University, Hyderabad, India, and University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
Her research is focused on natural product synthesis, green chemistry and organo-catalysis. She is active in both teaching and research and currently holds the responsibility as the research coordinator of Phytopharma research center. Apart from carrying out her own research project (funded by DST-SERB) she is also actively involved in a few R&D projects in GramTarang foods.
Dr. Madhusmita ChoudhuryAssistant Professor, SoM
Dr Madhusmita Choudhury is a management Professional having 15+ Years of Teaching & Corporate Training Experience. She is currently working as HOD & Assistant Professor at Centurion University, Vizianagaram, AP.
She is an excellent Team player, a result-oriented institutional asset with Self-Motivation, and a strong determination to achieve professional growth. Dr. Mukundjee PandeyAssistant Professor, SoET
Dr. Mukundjee Pandey joined CUTM, Odisha on 1st November 2016 as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department. He has been taking care of Aerospace Engineering department from Dec 2020 and Center for Manufacturing as Associate RC Coordinator from May 2022 to till date. He handled RAC domain, Renewable Energy domain as domain coordinator from 2017 to 2019. He has been taking care of GTM Domain from 2018 and CFD domain from 2020 to till date. Under his guidance, students won “Dassault Systemes Jury Award” and runner up prize for the “Project of the Year” organized by Dassault Systems in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
He is having experience in handling projects using Ansys, Simulia, Altair, SimScale, Star ccm+, X-Flow, DwSim, ChemCad, and Aspen Plus softwares. He contributed more than 100 research articles which include SCI, Scopus, WoS journals, book chapters, conference article and 2 ATAL FDPs.
