Centurion University has launched 4 years Bachelor Program (UG), aligned to the New Education Policy 2020. This Programme provides flexibility to students to choose a single discipline or a combination of disciplines/ streams as an academic career path. The Programme envisages a competency-based, multi-disciplinary, holistic academic program with a creative combination of disciplines/ skills/ Domain/ Research of study with multiple entry and exit options. The curriculum emphasizes a flexible combination of a wide range of courses with a focus on analytical and critical thinking, computational skills, use of cutting-edge technology, innovation, creativity, experiential learning including the development of a competency-based skilling ecosystem, and holistic development of students leading to specific career prospects.

Salient Features
- A student can join a Bachelor programme and after completion of 1st year, can choose a discipline or combination of disciplines.
- A student has the option to study courses of his/her choice and earn credits from multiple baskets. Based on the accumulation of credit the degree student can exit at any point or can be awarded a Certificate to Bachelor degree with Honours depending on when he/ she exits.
- A student after successful completion of four years’ degree is eligible to undertake 1-year master’s degree or an integrated Master’s PhD program.
- A student can also pursue PhD after completing four years Bachelor’s degree program with research provided they meet the required entry criteria.
- Adoption of flexible curricular structures in order to enable creative combinations of disciplinary areas for study in multidisciplinary contexts
- A student has a choice to pursue degrees in one or multiple disciplines/streams based on the following criteria;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Single Major and Single Minor: A student must complete a minimum of 60/80 credits from the major discipline for the 3-year/4-year Graduate degree respectively to be awarded a single major. The student must take at least 20 credits from a minor discipline.
- Example, in a 3/4-year Graduate program, a student of Physics with a minimum of 60/80 credits in physics and a minimum of 20 credits from any minor disciplines (radiology/ optometry) will be awarded a B.Sc. in Physics with a single major.
- Bachelor with Double Major: A student has to complete 60/80 credits for 3/ 4 years degree in the first major discipline and a minimum of 48/62 credits from the second major discipline for the 3-year/4-year Graduate degree to be awarded a double major.
- Example Bachelor in Commerce and Management. Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Application.
- Multidisciplinary Program: A student can have a wider choice of courses from multiple disciplines (three disciplines) and will be awarded a degree as Multi-disciplinary Bachelor’s degree. In the case of students pursuing a multidisciplinary program of study, the credits to core courses will be distributed among the multi-disciplinary courses.
