Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Unit
Genesis
A brainchild of one the students of Centurion University, Nihar Ranjan Panda, and his team, introduced a skill-training institute, Skyy Rider which commenced as the Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufacturing Unit with the belief in the power of electric mobility to transform the world. Having the upper hand at being the first-mover advantage in Odisha, it etched its mark in being the only brand developing, innovating and supplying EVs at an economical rate. Along with that, increasing fossil fuel prices also helped in penetrating the market.
Aims and Objectives
The objective of this Unit is to revolutionise the transportation industry by providing sustainable and affordable Electric Vehicles that meet the needs of today’s consumers. It is dedicated to designing and manufacturing innovative electric vehicles that are not only functional but also stylish and fun to ride.
The University aims to involve students actively in the manufacturing of EVs. To provide candidates with in-depth and detailed knowledge about electric vehicles and the subject associates. The Unit ardently trains the students to understand the working of EVs and their recent trends. It involves them in designing the full-scale power train for EVs and makes them more employable. This unit bridges the gap between conventional methods of learning and application-based process of learning for the students and empower them with the skills to face future challenges.
Benefits
Practical experience in the Unit helps students improve their technical skills. It provides hands-on practice and project work in the study of E-Vehicle assembly and Design. It provides a realistic approach to make the students market-ready for providing services to EV Industries. Creating a high-level skill to design an Electric Vehicle, also enables the students to set up their own EV Units by garnering enough knowledge.
Future goals
With an open mind to create for the future, this Unit strives to create a world where Electric Vehicles are the norm, reducing people’s dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating the impact of climate change. It aims to be the leading provider of high-quality, innovative, and eco-friendly electric vehicles which are accessible to all. The students can design a full-scale Power train and be able to do the Troubleshoot.
Being the leading electric vehicle manufacturer committed to providing environmentally friendly, sustainable, and affordable transportation solutions, their mission is to revolutionise the way people move by creating high-quality electric vehicles that are accessible to everyone.
Adherence to SDGs
