Overview:
The School of Applied Sciences (SoAS) consolidates science,Technology and life skills. The departments are running with highly qualified & experienced faculty members with expertise in teaching, learning and research in frontier areas with significant research out comes in the form of book, book chapters and research papers. The School of Applied Sciences (SoAS), CUTM, Bolangir Campus offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program, Master of Science (M.Sc.), Bachelor of Computer Applicaton (BCA) Programs started in the years 2012 and 2016 respectively. These programs are offered from four campuses of the University, namely, Paralakhemundi, Bhubaneswar, Bolangir and Rayagada. In keeping with the skill orientation of the University, these programs are application oriented with strong skill integration.
Interdepartmental Collaborations:
Besides the programs given below, the University also offers courses in inter-disciplinary areas of School of Pharmacy(B.Pharm & D.Pharm), JITM +2 Science(CHSE & CBSE), Centurion Public School(CPS) and Vocational disciplines (ITI) of the (GTET & Skill Developments).
The syllabus of the programmes are duly approved by the Academic Councils of the University under guidance and participation of academic institutions of repute such as NISER, IIT, R&D and industry partners like Infosys, TCS and the like. As a matter of policy, The syllabus are periodically reviewed and updated every three years. The review of B.Sc. Honours(CBCS) and BCA programmes are being undertaken this year under this policy.
The Centurion University is accredited with NAAC-A grade, UGC -12(b) status, UGC & AICTE approved, Approved by PCI, NBA Accredited, Member of AIU, Recognized by Dept. of Higher Education, Odisha, Affilated with Govt. of Odisha.Approved by NCVT,Govt. of India.
