About Department
The department of Veterinary Anatomy was established in the year 2023 under the School of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of Centurion University of Technology and Management. The department is equipped with three well established laboratories as per Veterinary Council of India (VCI) norms and two museums, one each for dry and wet specimens.
Mandates:
- To impart teaching and practical demonstration in Veterinary Anatomy for B.V.Sc. & A.H students.
- To undertake need based research programs in Veterinary Anatomy.
- To identify the age of the animals based on epiphyseal cartilage in vetero-legal cases.
- To undertake research programs on experimental Veterinary Embryology.
- The knowledge of Veterinary Anatomy will be helpful for the treatment of ailing animals.
- To differentiate the meat and bones of different species of animals.
