About Me

Dr. Srikanta Moharana currently works as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, Centurion University of Technology and Management; Bolangir Campus, Odisha, India. He has completed his M.Sc (Chemistry) from National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University. He has developed expertise in the areas of materials, graphene, nano materials, carbon nanotubes, ceramics, Synthesis and Characterization of Functionalized Ceramic Polymer Nanocomposites (FCPNs) for electrical and electronic applications. He has guiding 2 M.Sc students (continuing). He has presented his research work in many national and international conferences. Dr. Moharana has published more than 26 research papers in journal of international repute and many more counting. He has awarded Prof. GB Behera Best PhD thesis award under the banner of Orissa chemical society. He has applied for one research project to DST-SERB, which are under review. He has strong experience in the field of nanomaterial and nanocomposite synthesis based on polymer and energy storage devices, believed to produce outcomes which definitely purposeful from industrial point of view, as well as from laboratory scale to large scale implementation in the field of miniaturization of nano-scale industry and fabrication of flexible thin film capacitors for advanced energy storage. Dr. Srikanta Moharana has authored three book chapters. He is a life member of Orissa Chemical Society.
