About Me

I completed my graduation in B.Sc. (Horticulture) from OUAT Chiplima, Odisha in the year of 2012 and qualified JRF examination during 2012.

I received my Post Graduation degree in M.Sc. (Ag) in Horticulture, Department of Horticulture and Post Harvest Technology, Institute of Agriculture, Palli Siksha Bhavana, Visva Bharati, West Bengal, during the year of 2012-14.My research topic was "Effect of dates of planting and Cultivars in Kharif Onion (Allium cepa L.). During master degree programme I was awarded merit scholarship and became 1st rank holder at Visva Bharati University.

I worked on the research topic "Genetic Variability and Hybridization Study in Citrullus" during my doctoral programme. In Ph.D programme I received NET and NON-NET fellowship from 2014 to 2016 and National Fellowship for students of other Backward Classes (GOI) in educational year of 2016-19, supported by University Grant Commission.

I am an Agriculture entrepreneur and my hobby is to help farmers, encouraging them to adopt Hi-tech Horticulture methods instead of traditional farming. 

I joined this teaching profession to express my theoretical and practical knowledge not only to learn academic but also help farmer community and to be a self sufficient entrepreneur.
