Dr. Ranjan Kumar Sahoo has completed full time Ph.D programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dibrugarh University, Assam. Awarded Senior Research Fellow from ICMR, New Delhi and worked on project "Systematic explorations and Phytochemical investigations of Antimalarial compounds from ethnomedicinal plants used for curing Malaria as possible source of Antimalarial drugs" at CSIR-Northeast Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, Assam. Qualified in GATE-2006 and GATE-2007. Completed M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical chemistry specialisation from Dibrugarh University, Assam and received B.Pharm degree from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mohuda, Brahmapur affiliated to BPUT, Odisha. Experience in isolation of pure compounds from natural source, characterization of natural products based NMR, HR-MS, and IR study, synthesis of metal nano particles using plant extracts and their characterization by UV-Vis, HRTEM, SEM, XRD, NMR, FTIR studies, evaluation of antimalarial, antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities. Member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teacher's of India (APTI) and reviewer of Industrial crops and products journal of Elsevier publications.
