About Me

Dr. Limbraj Parshuram Pholane completed his Ph.D. from IIT, Kharagpur, West Bengal and M.Sc. from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (formerly Marathwada Agricultural University) Parbhani, Maharashtra, India. He has worked in various ICAR, ISRO, MNRE sponsored projects having more than 10 years of  working  experience in labs and fields. His research interest includes the sustainable management of natural resources under changing climate and to study its impacts on plants and soils ecosystems specifically nitrogen and water dynamics under diversified rice based cropping systems.

Prior to joining CUTM, for the last 10 years, he was working as a Project Officer at Biogas Development and Training Centre, IIT, Kharagpur  under MNRE's ‘National biogas and manure management programme’. He was responsible for providing technical support and conducting training programmes on Biogas Technology for the Staff of the State Nodal Departments, Implementing agencies, Banks, NGOs, Women’s organizations, Entrepreneurs, Panchayats and particularly Biogas users of West Bengal state.
