About Me

I am a Ph.D. from IITB-Monash Research Academy, a joint Ph.D. program between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, and Monash University, Australia. In my Ph.D., I have studied the droplet impact and evaporation dynamics on various solid surfaces. I have experience with different experimental methods, including the fabrication of micro/nano-textured surfaces using UV lithography, high-speed visualization, thermal imaging, optical microscope, 3D surface profilometer, SEM, etc. As a part of my M.Tech thesis at IIT Bhubaneswar, I did the modeling of mixed convection inside a 2D square cavity half-filled with a porous medium using Ansys Fluent. I was awarded the Institute Silver Medal at the 4th Convocation, 2015 of IIT BBS, for being the Mechanical branch topper (CGPA 9.08/10). My B.Tech was from VSSUT, Burla (2012 pass out). After my Ph.D., I have joined CUTM, BBSR as Asst. Professor in Mechanical Dept. and working here since Nov 2020.
