Dr Kapileswar Mishra Ph.D in Civil Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and National Doctoral Fellow of AICTE,New Delhi along with a LL.B degree from Utkal University.Teaching Experience of more than 27 years out of which 10 years as Director /Principal  in various Engineering colleges /University of Orissa, OP Jindal University ,Raigarh(CG), NSHM group West Bengal and Chaitanya Group Andhra Pradesh. Worked as FCE of CAPART, Ministry of Rural Development Govt. of India for Evaluation of various projects. Research in the area of Experimental Hydraulics, Scour D/S of Hydraulic structures etc. Presented and published papers in various National and International conferences and journals.

Receipient of National Scholarship, Gold Medal from IE (I), National Doctoral Fellowship from All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. Union Ministry of Water Resources Irrigation Prize at 31st Indian Engineering Congress. Prakruti Bandu Award from Environment and Forest Dept. Govt. of Odisha, Aryabhat Gourav Sanman ,Kalinga Gourav Award 2017.

Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers (India), International Association of Hydrological Sciences, Indian Society of Technical Education,Orissa Engineering Congress, Indian Society of Rock Mechanics and Tunnel Technology , Indian Water Resources Society, Indian Association of Hydrologist . Fellow and Executive Council Member(2018-20) of Indian Society of Hydraulics.
