Dr. Dipanwita Deb has obtained her Ph.D. in the research area of Algal Biotechnology from the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. After qualifying GATE (2012), she completed her M. Tech. in Agricultural Systems and Management from IIT Kharagpur and joined the Ph.D. program with an institute fellowship (JRF & SRF, IIT Kharagpur, MHRD, Govt. of India). Dr. Deb also received the International Travel Grant from MHRD, India, for attending and presenting a part of her research work at the European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB), held at Geneva, Switzerland in July 2018. She has quality publications in SCI journals such as Renewable Energy (Impact Factor: 8.001), Biomass and Bioenergy (Impact Factor: 5.061), Journal of Cleaner Production (9.297), and Letters in Applied Microbiology (Impact Factor: 2.858).
