About Me

Mr. Chandan Haldar is working as Assistant Professor in the School of Fisheries, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi Campus, Odisha. He has completed his M.F.Sc from ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra India, and his Ph. D. thesis topic is “Identification of Growth Associated SNPs in Clarias magur (Hamilton, 1822) using RNA-Sequencing” from ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has about 5 years of research experience and his focused research area includes "Marker-assisted selection & molecular marker" and "Next-generation sequencing & RNA seq data analysis". He has a good number of research and review publications in journals of national and international reputes. He is a life member of the Indian fisheries Association (IFA) and the Journal of fisheries and life sciences. He has presented research papers in many national and international conferences.
